SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT

Schedule your appointment!

Scheduling therapy sessions at Rivers and Roads Psychotherapy, LLC is easy peasy. Through online scheduling, you can find the therapist and appointment spot that works best for you and your schedule. Don’t forget to check with YOUR insurance to confirm the therapist you select is in network.

Important Note about Financial Cost: Insurance is a complicated topic for everyone for a lot of reasons. Using insurance for counseling can make mental health care more accessible and affordable. Many of the therapists we contract with accept several different major commercial plans, but this doesn’t always mean your therapy will be covered, just like when you go to a medical doctor. Before your first session, check with your insurer about if the therapist you are going to see is “in-network” with your specific plan, what “in-network benefits” for mental health services are, “co-pays”, “deductible amounts”, “session limits”, and “whether preauthorization or a mental health diagnosis is required”. If your provider is not in your insurance network or considered “out-of-network,” which are not the same thing, ask whether your therapist offers a “Superbill” so you can potentially seek partial reimbursement if you have those benefits. Please be aware of privacy considerations: using insurance typically requires sharing a mental health diagnosis and treatment information with your insurer. If cost or confidentiality is a concern, discuss fee options, sliding scale availability, or private-pay arrangements with your clinician.

To get started, check out each therapist's page here. Once you find a good fit based on your needs, their vibe, insurance, or specialty… You are ready to schedule. Please note: We are NOT in network with Medicaid. However, we do have interns who offer low-cost fees.
