As clinicians, we do hard work sitting with clients in their most vulnerable state. We hold space for them when they aren’t capable of holding that for themselves sometimes.

Continuing to show up in the most compassionate and curious ways requires us to always keep one foot in the classroom by learning and advancing our skills.

My mission for starting this practice was to center clients’ care by centering the care for the clinician and creating spaces where we feel valued for the incredible work we do. This allows us to do our best work. This reason is why offering on-demand continuing education courses was so important as part of Rivers and Roads.
