Hi there, and welcome! My name is Jill Robbins, and I am a graduate student at Robert Morris University pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. I work with individuals and couples at Rivers & Roads under the supervision of Dr. Heather Sexton, PhD, LPCC-S, CST.

I am drawn to working with adults and couples who are navigating change, juggling the many demands of life, and seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Many of the people I work with want to feel more grounded, connected, and intentional in how they move through the world.

My approach to counseling is tailored to each client, with a strong emphasis on building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I have experience supporting individuals through life transitions, work-life balance challenges, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. When working with couples, I often use Imago Therapy to help partners better understand their needs and patterns, fostering empathy, connection, and meaningful change.

My goal is to provide a supportive, thoughtful space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Above all, my hope is to create a space where clients feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to take risks, and confident in their ability to create meaningful change.I am completing my Internship here at Rivers and Roads. I will be seeing clients at a low-cost rate, under the supervision of Heather Sexton, PhD., LPCC-S, CST. If you would like to see if I am a good fit, click below to reach out.

Sessions are low-cost self-pay on a sliding scale. $25 and up!
