Hello, I am Unique Murphy

I am a Licensed Social Worker (WV) and currently completing my graduate program internship at Rivers & Roads Psychotherapy, working under the supervision of Courtney Fiutem, MSW, LISW-S. I am completing my Master of Social Work at West Virginia University.

I’m passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can be yourself and feel heard. My goal is to support you in exploring your thoughts and emotions, building on your strengths, and finding new ways to navigate life’s challenges.

Some of the areas I am especially interested in include anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, stress, and life transitions. Life transitions can include relocating, career changes, beginning college, or other meaningful shifts in your life. Presently, I am pursuing additional education in perinatal mental health to develop a future specialization. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth, and I believe therapy works best when we work together at your own pace.

Unique is an intern at the practice, which means she is completing a Master’s degree program and is required to observe and lead her own sessions under the close supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
