Counseling Supervision
Hi, I’m Dr. Heather Sexton, a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and board-approved clinical supervisor with a specialization in sex and relationship therapy. I’m passionate about supporting students, early-career and licensed clinicians as they grow into confident, ethical, and attuned therapists—especially those who are neurodivergent and are drawn to the complex, rewarding work of helping couples heal and reconnect.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked extensively with individuals, couples, and partnerships navigating relational distress, communication breakdowns, sexual challenges, trauma, and attachment wounds. This clinical focus deeply informs my approach to supervision.
As a supervisor, I offer a grounded, collaborative, and emotionally safe space where you can reflect on your clinical work, deepen your confidence, and develop your unique voice as a couples therapist. Together, we explore not just what’s happening in the therapy room—but also what’s happening within you as a clinician: your countertransference, your questions, your growth edges.
My supervision style integrates systems thinking, Imago Relationship Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Parts work, attachment theory, and sex-positive frameworks. I also bring a trauma-informed, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ affirming lens to all of my work.

Individual Supervision rates are $100, Group Supervision rates are $50.
